Rachel Zehden

I’m Rachel, a trauma informed certified somatic practitioner and life coach. My mission is to help individuals rewrite their story, heal deeply, and step into the authentic, joyful life they deserve.

My life has been a journey of resilience through chaos, pain, and transformation. Growing up, I moved constantly as my mother searched for stability—not just with homes, but with husbands as well. Some were abusive toward her, some toward me, and some toward both of us.

​By 18, I was living alone—far too young and making decisions driven by survival rather than self-worth. At 20, desperate for something steady, I moved in with my father—the one stable constant in my life. Just when I thought I’d finally found stability, my world was shattered. My father fell into a coma and never recovered, passing away a year later.

Losing him felt like falling into a deep, dark hole. He was my anchor, my guiding light. In the midst of that darkness, I started writing and publishing the children’s book series "Claus Cloud" to honor his legacy and find strength amidst the pain.

But life wasn’t done testing me. Years later, while pregnant with my second child, I had to face yet another deep darkness—the suicide of my mother. It ripped open many wounds—abandonment, questioning my worth, wondering if I was lovable. It shattered my heart into countless pieces. Even today, after so many years of healing, it’s still hard to find the words that would describe this painful experience.

​Anger, grief, and trauma could have defined me. But I chose a different path. I turned my pain into purpose, becoming an emotional counselor and later working on a suicide prevention hotline dedicating myself to the world of healing—for myself, my children, and for my clients, that I now serve.

Today, as a trauma informed certified somatic practitioner, I specialize in helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, break free from generational trauma, and heal emotional wounds that traditional methods often overlook. Through somatic techniques, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, I’ll guide you in building self-worth, setting healthy boundaries, and rediscovering the strength that’s always been within you.
